As is the wont with German manufacturing, everything seems to fall neatly into place and work together as to give top notch performance. Because the car company has had time to refine its art over the series, the M4 impresses in many aspects.
The signature BMW look is there for all to see and therefore the aesthetics are top notch. Despite being only a two door car, this coupe appears to take up the space with a swagger that only BMW can offer.

2017 BMW M4 engine
When you pop the hood, you are confronted by a 3.0 liter 6 cylinder turbo charged power unit. This power monster is capable of churning out a maximum horsepower reading of 425 hp at 5500 rpm. It also delivers a torque reading of 406 pound-feet.
This is a similar engine to the one that BMW offered in the M3 series. The turbo charging adds some more power to the coupe. BMW gives the choice of coupling the engine to a 6 speed manual transmission gearbox or opting for the 7 speed dual clutch automatic transmission gear box.
Performance-wise, the power coaxed from this engine is enough to provide the thrills for many petrol heads. There are, however, some disappointments when it comes to the feel of the steering and the fuel economy as shall be seen later.
The interior of this BMW coupe
Despite the rough aggression that is the result of the happenings under the hood, the interior cabin of the 2017 BMW M4 is comfy. The sculpted bucket seats are the stuff dreams for those who trying to take the coupe for a long drive.
As a standard, the Bavarian automaker provides high quality cloth upholstery for the seats. For a few more thousand dollars, however, there is top notch supple leather to enhance the comfort of your ride. The seats also have extra padding within compared to that offered by the M3.
The front seats have plenty of legroom to ensure that the driver is not cramped during the drive. This, however, means that BMW has to sacrifice legroom for the second row passengers as well as storage space.
The cabin is pleasing to the eyes as well as functional. There are dials to tell you how the car is functioning. These are set against a glossy black backdrop so that they are easily seen by the driver.
The exterior of the 2017 BMW M4 is screams BMW from all the way down the street. There are some classic design cues that immediately point out the this is a BMW coupe. The two part front grille is one of these.
The vertical-slatted grille of the coupe has a septum down the middle which is typical BMW. The front headlights take on a squinted appearance as they reach out to fuse with the ends of the grille. This give the car that sporty and aggressive look that makes you want to get in and have a go.
The design team went further ahead to style the intake grille at the bottom in three sets of honeycomb latticework. This accentuates the sporty vein that BMW is surely going for in this M4 coupe.
The sloping roof is held up by a blacked out B pillar that lends an aura of floating continuity to it. Each side is taken up by a singular door that bears a stylish line and indent all the way towards the back. At the rear, the stylish lights wrap around to the side of the trunk.
